The beginning of a legacy

Inventor and golf enthusiast, Thomas Fawick was the first to uncover the notion that rubber was the future of golf grips – providing a lighter, higher traction, and more durable gripping surface versus the popular leather grips. It was in Akron, Ohio (the rubber capital of the world) where Fawick partnered with Bill Junker and Jim Karns to get his new rubber grip concept into motion. In 1949, Golf Pride was born.

We're obsessed with connection

There’s no feeling more foundational to your game than how your hands connect to the grip. We see grips as equipment for your hands, not just handles for your clubs. For five generations, we’ve obsessed over this connection between hand and grip. Our mission is to design grips for the hands of all golfers around the world and inspire them with a feeling of confidence to play their best.

Evolving for the modern golfer

Golf is an ever-changing game and our technology needs to keep up with that. We pride ourselves on always looking for the best, newest, and most innovative ways of doing things to maximize every player's potential and ensure the hand-grip connection is as strong as possible.
